We’re all Christmasy on the main blog, whoo-hoo!
Thank you so much for all of the comments on the cover. I’m so glad you liked it! People asked about Great Read Guaranteed sticker. Here is how it was explained to me:
This is a special promotion that would be valid for 2 months from the pub date, in which customers can return the book for a full refund if they are not satisfied. A “great read, guaranteed” seal will be printed on the front and back cover (of the first printing only).
So, yay, if you hate it, you can bring it back.
I have to work this fine morning and I don’t want to. At this stage it’s like pulling teeth.

Yeeiiih, Christmas. I am so looking forward to the holidays and I love the Christmas smilies, too.
But honestly who would want to return the book? When I FINALLY posess it in may/june I am going to hold on to it and growl at every person who wants to touch it!! MINE!!
Thanks for at least waiting until December to get Christmasie. Looks nice. And really? People return books? On our planet? Really?
Pffft return?! I laugh at the thought of such a silly idea. It will go on special spot on bookshelf with the others after it’s read. *nods*
oh, no!!!! Ilona, don’t even talk about pulling teeth. *checks watch* in two and a half hours I have an appointment with my dentist. wisdom tooth removal. EEEEEEEKS. *shakes*
thanks for the festive background on the blog AAAAND, do you really think anybody here will bring the book back? *shakes head* foreign concept, that.
Love the book guarantee. Only the truly insane will be using it.
Ditto what Cheese said. I can’t imagine anyone would want to bring back the book but it’s great that the publisher has a faith in Magic Bleeds that the are willing to vouch for it.
xxx
Somehow I doubt I will give it back! I pity everyone who’ll try to pry the book from me!!!
P.S. Ilona, I know you wanted to telephatically spill my drink on me so it’s not nice to tell you this but… the Depeche Mode show in Turin has been fantastic! I hung with nails and teeth to the front barrier and managed to stay in the front row the whole concert! Dave is mindnumbing from there…
Ilona, I might have found the perfect t-shirt for you: http://lolmartshirts.com/2009/12/02/lolmart-shirts-meh/
I like the new background, but I’m sure I would never ever return Magic bleeds!
And that has nothing to do with the fact that the company I buy it from isn’t even in the same country as me…
You will have to pry it from my cold, dead hands.
DITTO!!
nope not even then. my family will have to bury me with that book. and if they don’t my ghost will haunt them.
Hate it? No one will hate it.. and if they do, rocks will fall and kill them before they get a chance to return it.
That cover IS beautiful – I love how Kate finally has a close-up! And that Curran is still there.
Christmasy blog = cool!
NOT like it?! Are you nuts?! Unless you’re permanently killing off Curran, I doubt that’s possible.
Um, one question? If the book is set in December (three weeks after November 15, right?) will Christmas be a part of MAGIC BLEEDS? (in other words, Will we be having Curran in a Santa hat?)
No, the book takes place before Christmas.
Oh, darn, no Santa hats then. *sigh* Maybe the next book or a short story somewhere down the road. And Kate could be his elf!
Love the layout, makes me want to sing carols.
Send it back! More chance of sticking my eye with a needle!
Love the sites new christmas look, very cool. I cant wait for christmas!!!
blog looks good!
and no i would not return it!
I’m sorry, but hating it is just not in the realm of possibility. Not even in this stratosphere.
Sorry. I remember when Magic Strikes came out, I had to hunt through two book stores before I got it in my hands. Come May 2010, I will repeat the process and should anyone get in the way, they will know my wrath!
Ackkkk! Once it’s in my hands it’s MINE!!! Do not touch upon pain of dismemberment! And various other unpleasant feelings. . .
