The Great Gordon House Who Done It

(pictures under the cut)

Oh Noes!  What happened here?

carnage1

What’s this?

carnage2

Somebody killed the lovie!

Who did it?

carnage3

We didn’t do it.  No, no.

carnage4

We’re good dogs.  Look at us being so nice to the human child.

But wait!

carnage5

A culprit caught in the act.  She has the lovie.

carnage6

And she’s still killing it!

The criminal must be punished.  She must wear the Hat of Shame*.

carnage7

(*Okay, so we didn’t have the hat of shame handy, but Kid 2 brought home

this thingie from a birthday party and it seemed to fit.)

That is the reason I refuse to buy stuffed toys for my dogs or cat. Because they end up looking like that within an hour…. I should definately get a “hat of shame” :::ponders the usefulness of the hat:::

Not too bad. My dog loves to shred tissue boxes. Noramlly not an issue unless you have a runny nose and then it’s hide the tissue box under clothing in draws etc…

The goodnews she use to shred toilet paper and that was a problem. :)

Put some spare change in an empty soda can and duct tape the top closed. Put on top of toilet paper roller or kleenex box. When they try to grab either the noise scares the sh..uh..bejeesus out of them. Gracie the wonder dog won’t go near a tissue!!

My German Shephard, Chubbs, recently mauled my son’s helpless and beloved stuffed giraffe, aka Raffie. It is currently in ICU awaiting surgery and eye reattachement. Pets gotta love them…or euthanize them…no no gotta love’em.

The hat works! The dog looks properly shamed. See, now all kitties do is pee on stuff. Why do we have animals?

Our dogs are constantly destroying their toys :) Even the ones that are advertised as non destructible get annihilated within a week. And I love your boxer in the corner! Boxers are the best :]

That was a good laugh. Reminds me of the mysterious disappearance of a plush m&m stuffed toy I had. Tragic death, caused by a 9 month old puppy who had loads of fun causing said death. :)

But they get such joy out of such death and destruction it is difficult to resist as they walk through the store…
“Mom, I love this one. I will treasure it always…This time I mean it!!”
“No, you will destroy it as you have done every stuffed toy we have brought into the house for the last year….”
“No, no, no…it is the perfect toy I have been searching for FOREVER…it will not be destroyed, it will be cherished…I promise…”
    “OK. If you mean it.”
    10 minutes after getting home:
    “NOM, NOM, NOM”
“Devil puppy, what are you doing?!?!?”
“Has squeaker, must find and exterminate.”
And so goes another stuffed lovie. Our toy box is filled with lovie carcasses.

Our Belgian Malinois mix came to us with his teddy. Large teddy. Has no ears or nose. He also ate the stuffing out of one leg.
