I am a happy camper. I am drinking coffee, I treated myself to a sausage wrapped in pancake on a stick – shush, it’s yummy – and I am all comfy in my chair. Today will be the day of screwing with the website, adjusting typography and putting up new info on the front page.
Presents are bought and wrapped.
I might – shocking – even call BFF Jeaniene and bug her this morning. Teeeheee.
It’s so nice not to have to do anything. I have until new year to decompress and then it’s Kate five.

Congratulations! That has to feel good. We’re eying the weather trying to decide if we make the trip to the Midwest or not. I’m in the middle of revisions, but my mother-in-law is 90 years old. We may not have that many more holidays with her. I suspect NYC will not come to a grinding halt if my revision comes in a day or two late.

My power has gone. The heating in the house is electrical, so can’t use it. It’s minus 8 celsius outside and very quickly getting colder. I can only find about 4 candles for some reason, and I can’t find my gloves cause it’s too dark in the house. I can’t read, watch tv, and my battery in the laptop has about 5 mins of power left and I am bleeping freezing.

2. Since you mentioned tinkering with the typeface and all – in the page where all the posts come together (one of my favourites at home and work), all the text in ALL CAPS, which is not that easy to read. But it is proper case in the actual entry. Is there a reason for this?

Hmm, everything is normal to me. What browser are you using and does pressing Ctrl and scrolling the mouse help any?
Must be my browser then – I did try changing the text size – I’m using Google chrome – at work it’s IE and that didn’t give me any problem. (Neither did Firefox a week ago).
My brother’s not home, I’m on his computer, I’ll wait for him to get back, and update you. Again, sorry for all the trouble. (I’m on a different time zone now, so my reply might be pretty late, sorry.)
