LOL,
Love reading about your dogs, their so fun.
I don't have dogs myself, I have three cats there not as funny when greeting someone animal or person but they are fun when your trying to hypnotize them.

For example our cats (who, are named after characters from the West Wing Josh, CJ and president, only Josh is a girl and the others are boys) can be hypnotized by anything that is either string or something moving. This is how it plays out:

I'm wearing this scarf with bits of black string at the bottom and I'm playing with it as you do when bored, moving it back and forth.
Not realizing that the cats who were just a second ago lying lazy on the sofa are now all gathered round me looking at the strings at the end of my scarf. Until i turn my head and theres CJ with hes eyes wide following the movement of my scarf. Now at this point i do realize I've been ganged up by the cats, with CJ and Josh sitting either side of me and Presy on the floor. all of which are in ready to pounce mode and moving their heads back and forth following the scarfs movement but none of them are moving to catch it.
Now I realize I'm in trouble because all of them look like their about to go for my scarf and when they do their all are going to end up in my lap (there not nice kitties who think about their claws) so I'm going to end up being scratched.
With this in mind, I get up and they all rise themselves up and for the next five minutes their following me and my scarf, all hypnotized until they see a spider scuttle across my hallway and then their all jumping towards that, transfixed on new prey (which by the way they spend the next half hour trying to catch). so cats and hypnotism is quite fun as long as you don't get scratched.

PS: Sorry about any mistakes in this comment.

If you search long enough you will find a place no matter how hopeless it will seem at times. My parents have three German Shepherds and one very large mutt and they found a place to rent after a lot of places turned them down due to breed and how many dogs. Good luck finding a place quickly!

Sam is 12 and deeply apathetic to the wippersnappers' barking. Also he would like them to get off his lawn.

Ah this made me lol. Reminded me of my own dogs (2 labs) when we introduced my bf's minpin, but alas every tme they get together its the same routine of over excited yapping, barking, sniffing, and play fighting for dominance. Good luck on finding a place!

LOL

That pit sounds like mine. He walks ard outside like he is king of the castle and everyone else better go on somewhere.
After a few weeks of seeing the same dog, cat, ect... in the same area he stops feeling threatened and tones it down to what I call his "watch" status. He'll just stand there and watch. Doesn't move, bark, or anything.
