Snippets second. (I vote for more. I envision eventually putting all the snippets together, like a giant jigsaw puzzle. *pleasure* It feels absolutely amazing to read something in a book that I’ve sneak-peeked at. So long as it isn’t more than a quarter of the book. More would work, but only if it isn’t in one big chunk. Just FYI.)

The free fiction/short stories run a close third, just in case you are interested.

I noticed just last night that Kate 4 is now available on Amazon.com for pre-order for my Kindle. They will send to my Kindle on May 25. There’s a smidgen of hope for you peeps.
(By the way, why isn’t the Speech Enabled on your books, Kate?)

I just read this and please don´t stop the snippet joy!
If there are a few people which don´t like them ( i cant imagine that)
they dont have to read the blog. And please *friends* don´t send Illona
Links, if the content is not nice. I don´t want to suffer because of something like this,
those snippets always make my day.

Weighing in on the great snippet debate. Looks like I am in the minority here…don’t like snippets and usually skim right through them. The anticipation makes my nutz and I don’t like ANY hint of what is to go on in the book.

Oh and would love to see Mark Del Franco here. Bought “Unperfect Souls” yesterday..can’t wait to dig in! Come on Mark!!

Hey Kadie, Kindle is not terribly Kind to us Brits. I have ranted and emailed and bored for Engalnd on this.
When I pretend to be a grown up I would rather have some books on Kindle than none -as I love being able to buy them at midnight, sweet guilty pleasure- but always seem to be my best authors are unavailable.
Exception- I don’t know if you are Jeaniene Frost fan ( avoiding certain word ) but her latest is available preorder, out on 9th- bliss.

Regarding snippets. It is like the telly. I watch several different talk shows (Oberman, The Daily show ect) but if the guest or the topic does not intrest me at the time I can just not watch. I then have the option thanks to the Internet of going back at a later time to watch that very same episode. Likewise with your posts Ilona. Say for some reason I decided not to read ‘snippets from Kate 5′ on Monday, because I don’t want to get too far ahead. I can simply not read them, no need for others to be denied their snippet, or for you to get a little feedback from readers. ((OF Course this also means I can give in to my snippet hunger on Friday and like a starving woman go back and read every snippet tagged post in order.))
