Magic Strikes is out in Germany.

Being a proper neurotic author, I done checked German Amazon.

Drumroll, please….

Hai, viel Glück auch von mir, Stadt der Finsternis! :D
    (Yeah, I’m a German fan~)

I really must say, I love the German covers. She looks like I’ve always imagined Kate to look. Especially the first cover got her right, imho.

You definitely have much more cover-fu in Germany than Scalzi and his editions do. Glückwunsch!

Have you noticed how Kate looks different on the covers of each book, taking on just a little bit of the nationality of the place she is being released….? Or is it just me?! Either way it looks awesome! Kate rocks! Yay!

    Herzlichen Glückwünsch!
I guess I´ll have to add the german edition to my english one… Even though I actually am German, I haven´t read it yet in my own language! Now however, I´m really interested… Also, amazing cover, though it lacks Curran, don´t you think? :)

hahaha, that’s right, Tine! There really should be a hunky picture of Curran^^ I discovered the first book while browsing through our tiny citys’ bookstore and bought it in German. I got so addicted, I couldn’t wait for it to be translated and bought all of the others in English. But I thought the German covers were so beautiful, I bought them again in German. I’m pretty stupid^^ and I’ve got too much money apparently ;)
