How do you send a killer to the grave when he’s already dead?
Having narrowly averted an (under)world war, Cat Crawfield wants nothing more than a little downtime with her vampire husband, Bones. Unfortunately, her gift from New Orleans’ voodoo queen just keeps on giving–leading to a personal favor that sends them into battle once again, this time against a villainous spirit.
Centuries ago, Heinrich Kramer was a witch hunter. Now, every All Hallows Eve, he takes physical form to torture innocent women before burning them alive. This year, however, a determined Cat and Bones must risk all to send him back to the other side of eternity–forever. But one wrong step and they’ll be digging their own graves.

Yep, that’s definitely a loooooooooong box.
They look like they are made of cardboard – how do they not bend in the middle when you lift them? Can you only lift them when magic is up?
No, they are very sturdy.
thats alot alot alot of comics….
That is why I am tired of shlepping about 40 or more of those boxes all over the damn country. I had to send them from San Diego to NC when I got out in the early 90s. Then it was GA to OK and back. I would really like to pair it down to about 20 or so boxes, just the stuff we like or that we know we can sell.
Just make sure to place the boxes on cross beams if you store them in the attic. My bro-in-laws didn’t think about that and now they have ginormous holes in the ceiling. I can’t imagine moving those suckers! bleck
O.O holy sh!#% and i thought i had alot.
*shudders*
Those things give me nightmares. Back when hubby and I were first dating, we decided to go in with his sister and her boyfriend and rent a house together. Her boyfriend had about a hundred of those things and another couple dozen of the smaller sized ones.
Moving them was seriously backbreaking work. When they moved out a few years ago, we told them they could move those damned things on their own cuz we weren’t helping. Especially considering that in the seven years we lived together, he acquired another dozen or so.
*grins* I gave my us comic book collection of 15 years away to a fellow teacher, who still liked to read them. Most I had only read once. It basically started in 1983 and ran till 1997. At the end I didn’t even read the subscribed comics anymore. (so he got about 22 boxes of Marvel and DC, with some oddities and graphic novels on the side – but not longboxes, just import boxes from Diamond). I can only recommend having movers carry the longboxes, as it shall throw your back out.
I’ve now gone completely manga for years, which has the advantage that series stop when their time is done, most of the time.
Also, yay for German author copies ^^. Looks a bit incongruous ^^.
Ah, thank you. That wasn’t what I found online.
For years, we have been the “baseline” for our friends and family – e.g. our cat was the fattest, our dogs the unruliest, etc. Nice to hand over the “baseline” baton to you on comics – we don’t have as many as you!
I fear moving my husband’s comic collection for exactly the reasons you describe.. those boxes are heavy and if you put enough of them in one place you could break an axle on a trailer! We’ve moved them twice already but the collection has exploded since the last move because he started reading current titles again… eeeeek!
Good luck with your move! It sounds remarkably under control, regardless of how you may feel!
Have you though about donating the toys to soldiers/Marines in Afghanistan or Iraq for distribution the the local children there?
I have about 16 of those…from only two years of collecting….I had to stop.
