We went out today to Wells Fargo (cause there aint no damn Wachovias here) to set up our new accounts, and to the Asian market. The girls are on spring break so they got to go with us. Because they were so well behaved in the bank they were also taken to Powell’s in Beaverton, to get some manga. A good time was had by all.
We took some more pictures to put up cause we think it is very pretty here.
Sam gets his picture in too, as he is old and rarely makes it into the blog.

Apparently, we also got a bunch of ARCs for Magic Bleeds via Fed Ex. They had actually gone to the GA house but our super cool real estate agent mailed them to us here.
They always send us too many of the darn things and we are still unpacking so I thought that maybe we should give a couple of them away. If we can get Sam to give them up.

I love Kate! I’ve got all the books so far and can’t wait for the next one to come out. I’m the only one that I know who reads the series, so definitely not giving away anything! How exciting! I really wish I could get my daughter hooked on Kate.

Spoiling the story would ruin the fun for the others (no point in that)! I can’t say how much i would adore an advanced copy, but even if i don’t win you can rest assured that I’ll be rushing to get a copy as soon as it comes out. The Kate series is my favourite out of everything i have read ever and I’m so freaking excited! It would be the best end of exams gift.

I work at a bookstore, and your books are one of the first series I recommend to anyone looking for Urban Fantasy. They are just amazing! Kate Daniels is my all-time favorite heroine, which is pretty huge, cause I read a LOT. Thanks for creating her!!

I have to say that I’ve been watching your move with a lot of interest. I’m sorta sorry that you aren’t in Georgia any more, because it makes it less likely that I’ll meet you. On the other hand, I don’t blame you for wanting out of Georgia, so I’m glad that you were able to move, and Oregon looks marvelous!
I’ve lived in Georgia or Alabama all of my life, and only made one long-distance move as an adult, than a company-sponsored move many years ago. My partner and I have seriously considered a move to the Pacific Northwest or to some other more politically liberal place with cooler temperatures, so I’m paying attention to how y’all settle in. My “baby” is 19, so we don’t have school issues to worry about, at least.
I would really appreciate to receive an ARC because I absolutely love your Kate books and due to living in Germany have to wait a couple of days more to get my hands on Magic Bleeds. As I usually do not post anything in the internet and am the only one among my friends (except my brother and I would never let him know anything, hehehe!) to read the series there is no opportunity for me to give out spoilers. Thank you for writing those marvelous books!
Can you send them to Europe, too? we people here are always out of luck with things like this. Too bad that a lot of my favourite authors are American, I never get Arcs or something shipped to Germany
