MAGIC BLEEDS is #19 on NYT

magic-bleeds-is-19-on-nyt

Like most authors, we got soft-released, but due to complete awesomeness of you, we still made New York Times Bestseller List for 06/06/2010,  a week before the book is officially released.

Thank you so much!  This means a great deal to Gordon and me.  We’re humbled and we thank you for your support.

My message on my answering machine that day was “I’m busy right now, if you need me I’ll be on cloud nine.” My compliments to you both, yall did a great job and Congrats on making the NYT bestseller’s list!

I just finished listening to “Magic Bleeds” on my Ipod.
    It was sooooooooooooo GOOD.
The narrator was perfect. She had the book’s humor down flat. It felt like she was telling the story, instead of reading.
    Thanks for the great story.

AHH!!! It was FREAKING AWESOME!!! Why are so many awesome things (you guys at the top of my list) in Oregon of all places???

Kind of ironic you made it to the best seller list before your book was “out” though… Still awesome either way and as long as you guys don’t lose money, soft releasing’s awesome :D

I fought reading your books for some reason. I just kept passing them by despite everyone assuring me they were great. (i hadn’t really been into magic at the time.) I’m so glad no one let up on you and they stayed on me until I finally caved. Each book gets better and that’s very rare with most authors. A lot of PR and Urban Fantasy are entertaining, but poorly written. Your stories have substance to them and they avoid the cheesy, campy style many books fall into. You have great comedic timing and you keep me laughing. I could spend a year reading a book a day about Kate and Curran and their adventures and I think I’d still be happy. Congratulations on a wonderful book and making the bestseller list. You deserve it.

After holding my breath for this book for months (no I never exaggerate ;) It FELT like holding my breath, trust me) I got it in the morning and finished it that night. I really can’t put into words how much I enjoyed it. I have loved the series since page 1 of book 1 but Magic Bleeds cements it as a permanent favourite forever.

I average 4-6 books per week and I can honestly say that this is the best new release I have read this year. My favourite, just edging out several others that were excellent and hard to beat :)

Thankyou so very much for sharing your talents with us. These books have it all.

Congratulations to you and also for me as my copy arrived today in the UK earlier ( wow wow wow ) than expected. The only down side is I now feel obligated ( bizarre delayed gratification gene kick ) to wait until tomorrow ( my birthday ) to read it. Oh deep thought -that will mean I am totally antisocial until I finish it perhaps I owe it to my family to start reading now………

Thanks again for the joy of your books.

You deserve it! I went on Tuesday at 2pm to get my copy at B&N and they didn’t have it it, nor did they know when they would get it. I was so frustrated, how do you NOT have a new release out on a release day?!?! When I went in yesterday, their computer showed it in…they had received them yesterday after I left and had yet to get them out. Happily I got my copy and cannot wait to hunker down with it!!!!

Fellow fans…have faith, if your store doesn’t have them in yet…they will!

I finished Magic Bleeds and it more than lived up to my expectations. Your series is terrific. I hope I can convey what I like so much- the relationships between the characters, esp (in this book) Kate and Curren. You created complex, proud, lonely and damaged main characters. Most books either break them up or twist them into something else to get them together and then they live happily ever after. You made them so much more interesting by keeping them true to their characters. In my mind- two proud individuals taking a chance and working/fighting through all obstacles to create the home they both want but never had. You made them seem more real by sticking to their personalities but having deciding that love is worth a risk. In an era of selfishness and quick easy divorces and a me me culture-it was refreshing to enter a fantasy world where two people decide what is important and are willing to take a risk and work hard to find and keep it-love- and that made the book for me.

Magic Bleeds is now available on kindle, so I bought my second copy. :D Also, the NYT had a little * next to Magic Bleeds, which means that the numbers are indistinguishable from #18.

You go guys! The book rocked!
