The D’Artigo Sisters Take on the Quizzical Monster
My thanks to Ilona for inviting me to guest blog—she’s a peach and I adore her and find her terribly funny. Not terribly as in bad, mind you. For those who haven’t read me, I’m Yasmine Galenorn, New York Times bestselling author of the Otherworld Series, which stars three half human, half-Fae sisters, and a new UF series coming out this month: the Indigo court Series.
So, I’m here to tell you a little about my upcoming release and to also offer you a glimpse into my warped mind. I thought about what to write and blanked, after so many guest blogs in a month (I have 20 blogs/interviews this month) my mind just kind of vaporized into I-don’t-wanna and I lost it. So, I thought—of course—a quiz! Since the new release is the first in a new series, I can’t really do a quiz about which of my new characters are you most like without confusing you. So, I decided to let my D’Artigo sisters and friends from the Otherworld Series take over the helm. They’re wacked, warped, wild and thoroughly cool (well, they are…at least to me! ~grins~). And this is a contest blog, so yes, if you want to play, you have to read it and enter. I’m just mean that way. Ilona can tell you. She knows.
So, first about my new release. Then Quiz. Then contest.
Obligatory Self-Promo On New Release:
NIGHT MYST (June 29, 2010) Urban Fantasy/Paranormal Romance (dark, edgy and yes, some explicit sex and definite violence).
Eons ago, vampires tried to turn the Dark Fae in order to harness their power. Instead, they created a demonic enemy more powerful than they dared to dream. Bent on enslaving the world, the Vampiric Fae have been quietly massing their strength for centuries. Now, Myst, queen of the Indigo Court, is rising again…and a long-prophesied war is brewing…
Born a witch, Cicely Waters can control the wind. When her Elemental warns her that her aunt and cousin are in danger, she packs her Pontiac GTO and returns home for the first time in twenty years. But the magical town of New Forest, Washington has changed. The Indigo Court holds the city in fear; people are vanishing, and strange deaths plague the town. Swept into an unexpected and passionate reunion with her trusted childhood friend Grieve, the Fae prince who taught her how to harness the wind, Cicely finds herself with a fierce and territorial lover. But Grieve has become enslaved by Myst’s court, and now both lovers must walk a fine line to survive the machinations of the Vampiric Fae Queen. Caught between two evils, both vying for supremacy, Cicely must fight for her family and her future. As she discovers the hidden secrets to her own heritage, will she lose her soul in the process.

Camille D’Artigo
I’m apparently most like Vanzir don’t know much about him but sounds cool since
I’m not all good or aligned with the shadow court.
You are most like Camille D’Artigo
Half human, half-Fae, you are Moon Witch and Priestess. With your three husbands—Smoky, Morio, and Trillian, you face the demon menace with every ounce of courage you can muster. You kept your family together in harsh times, and now with your sisters, you once again face danger and meet it head-on without flinching.
…Nice xD

All of this seems true…except maybe the three husbands part, but hey, you never know XD
Menolly D’Artigo
Half human, half-Fae, you were a jian-tu, one of the highest orders of spies, an acrobat extraordinaire. But you fell to the vampires and came out of the blood lust to fight against evil. You are the most pragmatic of the sisters, and the one most willing to do whatever it takes in order to take down the enemy. You love women, although men are fun for a spin.
Sounds like some good material for me to put a spin on for my own D &D campain these kinda books give me great ideas.
