Ouran is one of my favorite animes ever. I’m trying to get my daughter to cosplay Haruhi the next time she goes to a con.
I love this anime. I think it has now been immortalised as the gold standard by which other shoujo animes are judged by. The manga has finished, and maybe we’ll be seeing a second season. It’s nice to see the heroine have interests other than boys. I agree on the money and food thing.

Wonderful love this series and the song was perfect for it. Haven’t finished reading the manga since I don’t have money to buy the rest when i do i am going t o have to go stock up on this series and some others.
ahhhh because of this little show for us, i looked up Ouran and came up with Ouran High School Host Club, which i then researched, and now i am watching them all on youtube, they only made 26 episodes so it wont take that long, but still, ilona you cant show me this, because then i will get addicted and have to know what happened during the whole thing by reading the synopsis or watching it…..

*hearts* Ouran. I think I actually like the anime better than the manga (THAT doesn’t happen too often…) because it is a little difficult to follow the action in print. I watched them all with my sister a few years ago after they were on TV in Japan.
It is honestly extremely difficult to pick a favorite character. Tamaki is funny and innocent, the twins are evil and juvenile and insular and Kyoya is evil and calculating and brilliant. I must like evil (to an extent) as a male characteristic.
