I have The Mammoth Book of Paranormal Romance and it took moving an island (Oahu) to get it! If one of my friends hadn’t worked at the Ala Moana Barnes and Noble, I don’t think it would have happened. See, the book said it was on the shelf, but no one could find it — nor would they order it because it said it was on the shelf … finally my friend ordered it anyway. (I wanted it from the store because I was spending an in store credit.)
Anyway, your story was great — and the other two were pretty darn good, too!
Random commentary…Don’t you love Ala Moana? If you haven’t, you should check out La Palme D’or Patisserie…if only for my sake. I find myself craving La Maccha (green tea mousse + chocolate) and wishing they would ship to the mainland.
