Well what a nifty idea! These will come in handy for your signing at Powell’s at the end of the month! :D :D :D Speaking of that signing, what will your signing rules be like? Will you have a limit if I bring bookplates to Powell’s? The quantity would be within reason of course, and it would save space since I’ll be living out of a suitcase that week. Please let me know.

Your presence was missed at RT. :(

A bookplate is usually a small print or decorative label pasted into a book, often on the inside front cover, to indicate its owner. It is also a way to get an author’s signature for your book(s) without actually sending the book to said author.

Yeah, I am so going to do this, since I won’t be able to make the drive down to Oregon from Seattle. I hope there isn’t a max I would love to send one for each book.
    Thanks

I’m with Kristina in hoping there isn’t a max because that would be wonderful to have one for each book. Love the books and the bookplates are awesome.

Bookplates are usually stickers that say something like “From the Library of” or “This Book Belongs To:”. You can put in the front of books, especially the books you plan to keep.

In this instance, the authors are offering to autograph the bookplates. Now any Kate book you own can become an autographed copy, just by adding one of these signed beauties. :-)

ohhh, cool idea. The bookplates look great. Well, since for some reason the color bookplate refuses to show for me, I can only judge the black and white… but I really like them!!!!

I can’t find the labels on UK website. :( But I’m already happy with the signed books you gave me so I won’t be greedy. xx
