Today I listened to the Pirates of the Carribean - On Stranger Tides soundtrack for the first time. I am completely hooked. The only other one I know is the one for the first film. Both are brilliant.

Another all time favourite soundtrack of mine is the LOTR trilogy's. Or any soundtrack composed by Yann Tiersen (e.g. Emily, Tabarly, Goodbye Lenin).

What are your favourite Soundtracks?

My favourite soundtrack is without hesitation the Princess Mononoke soundtrack, The Legend of Ashitaka Theme composed by Joe Hisaishi. This music is just so magical... As a rule I love all the musics in the Miyazaki films, but this one is, simply put, heavenly. I frequently listen to it to sleep.

I've got some too!
The Avengers, Charlie's Angels 2, Sucker Punch, Underworld (1, 2, 4), some Disneys (the Lion King, Tangled ...), The Swan Princess and Anastasia. I think that's all...

LotR and Pirates of the Carribean are a favorite, soundtrack wise. For me, the music there is able to get across the emotion, even when I don't get the visuals/conversations to go with it. For other movies, I often pick and choose only one or two songs that grab me.

Pirates is also one of my all-time favs. I also really like the soundtrack of Alice.
My bf loves those from Transformers (it's better than you'd think) and Xmen first class, but I can't quite remember them atm.

My brother got me all the Harry Potter ones. My favorite is Statues (Deathly Hallows Part 2). It's the "ward" song, and one of the few that raise goosebumps on my arms.
