I love how each of the heroines are made to suffer his company.

It's not one of my favorite authors. I think she doesn't work enough in her storylines. Great ideas and imagination, badly developed. But I will never forget the first Aisling book. I was reading a part with lots of sexual tension (I usually enjoy those more than the smex part) and the plane was taking off with all that vibration... I swear I could have jumped anybody right then.

I am on the 3rd Ansling book and I am enjoying them.  Jim is a hoot and a half and I am hoping that Ansling grows up a bit in this one.

I cannot comment on Katie's other books as I will probably pick them up over time as there is such mixed reviews.

Really enjoyed the 1st couple of Aisling books, but then got bored with the series.  Haven't as yet tried the Silver Dragon series, but luckily its available at my local library.

I don't usually go for anthologies as a rule but just found out that the anthology 'Death's Excellent Vacation' which is out today has a Jim story in it 'The Peril's of Effrijiim' thinking I'll have to get it just to read a story dedicated to Jim <32

Read the short in Death's Excellent Vacation.  I wasn't expecting to enjoy it.  I picked up Steamed in the bookstore, read the first chapter and put it back in disgust.  But from what y'all have said, her other works are much better.  "The Perils of Effrijim" is a silly, hyperactive short.  I giggled all the way through.  Jim seems like he'd be a crazy supporting character.

Blue, don't say you don't like steampunk because of Steamed!  It's hardly indicative of the genre. :P Try Gail Carriger or the new Meljean Brook.

My used bookstore had the first two Aisling books so I bought them.  I already know what happens thanks to the short story but that's okay, we'll see if I like them...

The Aisling stories are a light easy read filled with humor.
I finished Love in the Time of Dragons (the first in the Light Dragon series) It was good, not great, a funny start to a new series. Jim the demon dog makes an appearance ! It spins off from the silver Dragon series and Aisling Grey series.
