Why did Curran become the Beast Lord?  There wasn't one in Atlanta before.  Too much ambition to settle as cat or large beast alpha?  Boredom?  He was fifteen and needed a new challenge after dispatching the bear that went nuts at the Midnight Games?

wait until book # ?. she mentioned there would be more background info on curran somewhere....

but maybe she'll give us some info, who knows? Grin

I don't suppose book 4 is finished that we may know for sure our questions will be answered?  I know there's a better way to ask that...oh well.
