ah!  I just read the blurb for Changeless (spoilers for Soulless).

Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

So very Alexia.  And I only have seven weeks to wait!  Isn't that nice?

Y'all talk a very good yarn about Soulless. I might just pick it up after I finish re-reading Hopes Folly :) What exactly is Steampunk, btw?

I'm pretty happy, actually.  I have a bad habit of getting into a series just after the new book is released, meaning I have to wait the full year.  Seven weeks is about right. :D

Shot in the dark, have you ever read Girl Genius?

Otherwise, steampunk is sci fi set in Victorian-ish/Industrial Revolution era.  Clockwork, steam powered engines, dirigibles, etc., usually mixed with mad science or black magic to get your "fiction" in with your "science".  I thought Soulless was an ordinary Victorian fantasy until about halfway through, since most steampunk doesn't have vampires and werewolves.  I would say that Soulless is worth your time. ;) It's really funny and I adore the characters.

I can't cope. Does anyone know how many books are there in this series?
