I absolutely loved Doubleblind! :) Vel has become my favorite secondary character, it was great to get to know so much about the world he comes from and how much his behavior is different from that of the other Ithtorians.

So I finally got my hands on a copy of Doubleblind.  I liked it a lot.  I wouldn't go so far as to say I loved it, but it definitely redeemed Wanderlust for me.  I finally got what some other people meant when they said that the relationship between Jax and March was mirrored.  In book 1 March is making the first moves and calling the shots.  In book 3 it's Jax's turn to fight for them.  I am re-intrigued by the worldbuilding and by their romance.

I still don't get why it's called "Doubleblind" though.  "Grimspace" because it's all about a grimspace pilot and some of the mysteries associated with grimspace.  "Wanderlust" because they wander all over the galaxy on their little political feel good tour, and probably some philosophical stuff about wandering that I missed while mentally bitching.  But why "Doublebind"?  I don't even remember any references to blindness.

I think the blindness was meant about Jax's dealings with the Ithtorians and March. She was initially just thrown into the whole kaboodle and she had to deal with it blindly. By learning about their customs and by instincts and experience with March :D

Oooo, that makes sense.  Doubleblind, two situations she knows nothing about.  Much better now, thank you.

I love Jax as a character and her development has been so well done, especially given what she had to go through in Doubleblind.

Hopefully, they have learned their lesson and in the future WILL NOT SEPARATE.

I LOVED Blue Diablo, can't wait for the next book and I am definetely Team Chance... (one more book that left me tearing up...) I loved Butch and the hilarious scene with Corine and Chuch's wife... :)

I knew who the 1st bad guy was when they went to the air-strip but the final story? I wouldn't pick it up oon my own... also... Twila made me think of the 'Callysto' character in the Pirates of the Caribean... actually every time I read of Twila i think of the Pirates's 'witch' and the other night I watched the 3rd Movie I thought of Twila while watching the witch on the ship.... I will try to get Grimspace at some point soon....

Oh! forgot... I have to thank (and blame :)) Has for the possesed Diaphragm that really made me wander what was going on.... sometimes a LOLpic just beats all the book-pushing and recomendations you can have.... :)
