Wish I could make it out there! Looks like it’ll be so much fun!
If you ever come to the east coast I’ll be there!

Hello! Sorry to bother but the address is sorta off!
2342 Bissonnet Street
Houston, TX 77005
Can’t wait to meet y’all!!
June 5, 2018 at 7:42 pm
Darn it – just 1,628 miles away from me. Would have love to seen both the authorlords and Grace Draven. Have fun!
June 6, 2018 at 1:13 pm
Only… 5604 miles for me. Unfortunately for me, I guess ;(

June 5, 2018 at 8:26 pm
Maybe I should have put in for that promotion to Houston after all. 🙂
I hope that everyone who can make it has fun.

I hope you can come to Toronto some time, that would be awesome.
Anyway I will as usual be waiting for the gratings to lift at the local Chapters to buy the latest hardcover on it’s first day of release.
June 6, 2018 at 3:41 pm
I wish you could come to Toronto too. It’s only across the lake from me. (3 hours by car).
June 7, 2018 at 6:04 am
+1 although I am considering Grand Rapids since it is about as far away from home as my cottage is (weird triangle formation around Great Lakes). BTW you are not on Shuler Books event calendar yet. Any idea when tickets will be available?

I wish I could be there. It must get tiring having to promote your own books when they are published by a publishing company.
June 5, 2018 at 9:25 pm
I saw this on their calendar early today. I was happy to see it. **Yeah**
June 6, 2018 at 9:02 am
It’s on my calendar now, too!
June 5, 2018 at 11:49 pm
Will you ever come to Europe? If you ever do, anywhere in Europe, I’ll be there
June 6, 2018 at 2:36 am
June 6, 2018 at 3:35 pm
Yes Kylie. Let’s hope the Authorlords come to Australia someday soon. Patricia Briggs came to Supernova last year so I keep hoping the Supernova people will bring the Authorlords out as guests!
On another note, congratulations to both the Ilona Andrews writing team and Grace Draven for making the top 100 on the AAR ( All About Romance) review site. Grace’s “Radiance “ and Ilona Andrews’ “ Magic Binds”, “ Burn for Me”, “ White Hot” and “ Wildfire” are all listed in the top 100.

Thank you, Frances!

My birthday! Wish I could be there
June 6, 2018 at 4:28 am
Would you ever come to Singapore! Even on a holiday visit… Would love to take you out to dinner or high tea or something!
Have a great time on your book tours. Wish I could be there.
June 6, 2018 at 4:39 am
Congrats on finishing the book. I’m happy and sad at the same time. I can’t wait to read it, but I’m sad that it’s the end of the series.
Hope you get a little break between books.

This is driving me crazy – I type a post and it disappears and replaces it with my name grrrr!
Would love to be there but I am 4686 miles away! ☹️
June 6, 2018 at 9:08 am
Woohoo! Thank you! I will be there with bells on!
Umm – Does anyone know where one should attach the bells? Or can I just wear my bell earrings?
(Yes, I realize that I have tossed the straight line to end all straight lines out there. Enjoy, folks. This is what we live for, right?)
June 7, 2018 at 3:58 pm
sigh…. one day you will come to Blighty and we of the UK branch of the BDH will rejoice, and there will be singing and dancing and possibly some jumping up and down in joy, but only quietly in case we frighten you away and you chose not to darken our shores again 🙂
Best leave it a few years mind as while you have Trump we have the DUP : a rather close minded bunch who are not endearing themselves to many on this side of the Irish Sea (or my friends in the Republic either!) grrrrr
June 7, 2018 at 4:02 pm
Oh I’m so sorry kommiesmom- I replied to the wrong thread! That should have been a general boo hoo me post!!
I meant to tell you you can hang your bells wherever you like! With bells on your fingers and bells on your toes the BDH will have music wherever it goes! Enjoy and please ring a few jingles (or boings depending on the size of your bell) for me please 🙂
June 6, 2018 at 12:38 pm
I lived in Houston for 15 years and loved Murder by the Book. Let’s see, if I take off from Maryland on Wednesday morning by car, can I get to Houston by Friday at 6:30? I have friends and husband’s family there too. What a good excuse to travel.
June 6, 2018 at 12:46 pm
Fly…I’d totally pick you up at the airport. 🙂 What’s the BDH for but transportation to see the Authorlords!
June 6, 2018 at 12:48 pm
It’s a seven hour drive one way… ((sigh))
I’ll have to make The Pilgrimage when there is a closer venue.
June 6, 2018 at 1:20 pm
Clearly, you should consider going on a Grand World Tour! Or do more webinars!
June 6, 2018 at 3:06 pm
Hooray! Thank you!
June 6, 2018 at 4:11 pm
Thank you for the Curran Twitter bribe! It was a wicked awesome treat!
June 9, 2018 at 1:52 am
Loved the tweets, too. Thank you
June 6, 2018 at 5:16 pm
I looked, but I can’t see a winner between Curran and Raphael. Does anyone have more info on that?
June 7, 2018 at 9:59 am
Curran won with 68% of the vote. If you go back to that page after the 48 hours, it will tell you who won.
Curran now faces off against Kate. Poor guy.

AT LAST!!! A date and location I can join in the fun!!! I’m SO psyched!!!! On all my calendars. I never go downtown any more but THIS, this is without question!! If anyone wants to fly in I’ll puck you up from IAH. Or if you drive and need a place to rest your head overnight, I’ve got a double bed and a guest room. Seriously!!

Re: “with bells on” — wristlets or anklets with bells from Ren faires are fun, or you can make cute necklaces with craft store bells – sometimes they carry graduated sizes on one card.

Thank you for the twitter bribe. It was fun and caused much hilarity at breakfast, especially as I remember getting revenge on a friend the same way ( minus enchanted water ) when my children were small.
I hope everybody enjoys the signings, as an English member of the BDH I will not be there.
I am really looking forward to the release date though…..

Hi, went from this blog to Nalini Singh’s. Had to post the below after reading both and thought I should come back here to share. She is doing a signing in Auckland, NZ:
Hmmm – reading your blog and Ilona Andrews’ I think you might need to swap houses and tour. You have several people wishing you would go to Texas and Ilona has a signing in Houston coming up. On her blog are several people wishing the couple would go to New Zealand. While I think it would be awesome for those fans if they did I would still sigh and regret that neither of you are coming to Toronto, ON Canada area!
June 7, 2018 at 4:07 pm
ooooh…. three of my favorite authors in one place??? Now that would be fun!! perhaps one day….. And while I’m dreaming can we add Jessie Mahilik and Jim Butcher too and then I’ll be in heaven 🙂
Off to stalk Nalini Singh’s page now

Rogan, Curran, and Kate all advanced to their next rounds in the Alpha Showdown (http://vampirebookclub.net). Unfortunately that winning streak can’t hold up for all of them, as Curran has Kate in the next round.
June 7, 2018 at 4:45 pm
I saw that and howled!!! This is SO UNFAIR!!!!!

Wish I could be there! The one time you were in Ann Arbor MI I was out of town! 🙁
Good Luck I know you’ll have a great turn out! 😉
