This is *pretty good for an anthology. 😀
By pretty good I mean really good. Anthologies in general don’t hit as high as stand alone novels. Not trying to toot our collective horn, but the last time when I posted rankings for Burn For Me, which were crazy good for a debut, people unfamiliar with bestseller lists tried to explain to me in the comments what went wrong and why we didn’t hit higher. ::hugs everyone:: I love you all, because you really crack me up sometimes. 😀
This is probably the last anthology we’re doing for a while. Novellas are hard to write, especially under pressure, and we felt really bad because we thought we were horribly late with our contribution. It’s one thing when you’re late with a stand alone book, but when three other authors are involved, it’s a whole new level of guilt. Turned out we weren’t the last ones in, but still, we probably going to do independent novellas from now on.
We hope you liked Jim and Dali. You will see a little of them in Magic Shifts. *Spoiler: Dali is the Beastlady. I’ll just step away and let that sink in. He-he.
