Wow! 383 entries. I love you guys – in a purely noncreepy way. Unfortunately we can’t send the manuscript to everyone, so we rolled a random number generator and upped the number of beta spots to three.

Please email us, and I will send the manuscript your way.

Congrats to those who won! *mutters to myself* I can’t believe I missed this one though. How did I not visit the blog in over 24 hours? T_T
I loved Fate’s Edge. I thought you guys killed it. Kaldar and Audrey deserved every blessing coming their way and so do you and your family.
Oh, I can’t believe I missed the contest! Drat. Of course, I’ll be looking forward to reading it when it is published.
Congrats to all three of you! I can’t wait for it to be released so I can finally get it into my greedy lil’ hands…
Congrats!
Congrats to all the winners, very cool!
Not that I would have been lucky enough to have won, but dang work for making me work and miss reading the blog to have a chance to enter.
I need a raise!
Ilona, what did you expect? Of course you got so many reactions because you are wonderful writers!
Congratulations and a lot of fun during reading to the winners Milly from Australia, Jennifer S and Artangel!
Shoot I missed it…….(big Pout) always a day late and a dollar short. Hmmmmmm…… well congrads to the winners anyway and I can not wait for the book.
Congrats to the lucky winners.
I also can’t believe Fate’s Edge didn’t release bigger. I thought it had more crossover appeal than any of the Edge books. I bet it continues to sell high from word of mouth.
Hey guys! Just wanted to say that I lurk around here quite a bit. I think you two are hilariously funny.
And I picked up Kate Daniels #1 today as hubby was nice and took me to the book store and bought me goodies! *throws confetti*
I was lucky enough to get to review Magic Graves for the website I blog on and knew the minute I got to a book store I was going to get my hands on some Ilona Andrews books.
So, your readership has increased.
Thanks for the stories.
Congrats to the winners!!
You know, thinking back to a blog post from the other day, I really like The Edge series and am glad that you’re doing another book there. One of the things that I like about it is that I have no idea where the next book will go. I know that it will be inventive (I mean – you are YOU after all) and add to the picture of the worlds of the Weird, Edge, and Broken. I trust that I’ll get to see some familiar characters and likely meet someone new to care about. And I suspect that The Hand will be up to something bad somewhere and someone will have to do something about it. I love Kate to itsy bitsy pieces and back again, but one of the things I like about the Edge is there’s no Kate, there’s no Curran – there’s no big good force that the foolish evil should know damned well they’re supposed to be running in fear from. There’s just a group of differently powered, often broken people, doing the best they can and holding on to the family, the sense of self, the little piece of world that they have. It’s a very different dance, and you do it so well.
Sigh… I think I need to re-read all of Kate again; quite jealous of the lucky betas getting to return to that world before I can get back there…..
Sometimes i suck. Cant believe i have not been to sight in a day. Oh. Well. Loved fates edge.
Congrats to the winners. I am with g027, Jen, Heather, and the rest of the folks who didn’t make it to the Andrews’ site for a day or two and missed the contest. Wouldn’t you know not checking mail and blogs would coincide with a contest- for beta readers no less?
Hope your hand is better, and that you and the rest of the gang are all feeling back to normal.
Bummer about not winning any of the Goodreads categories. We’ll just have to aim for next year, for the next round of your books. As for Fate’s Edge coming in at the same number as the last one, I think Vinty is correct, and sales will continue to grow as word of mouth spreads. Hmm. I wonder whether a lot of people have Fate’s Edge on their holiday gift lists, so didn’t buy it when it came out.
Just keep writing what seems right to you. Your writing has been darn good so far. You are juggling a few different worlds and many characters, and they all work. You definitely have the right stuff!
Congrats to everyone who won!
I know that Artangel will be a great reviewer. She’s super-awesome and very thoughtful. Of course, the others will be awesome, too, I’m sure. I just don’t have personal experience with them!
Wow. I have no idea what this is but it sounds amazing!
