I love the curran pov’s and on goodreads I saw their was a curran POV #3 and 4 but I’ve never seen them anywhere to read. I was wondering if you could let me know where to buy or read. Thank you in advance I love your writing.
Curran POV #3 and #4 were never released in ebook form. I know that Goodreads created a listing for both, which is confusing, and I’m sorry about that. We didn’t feel right putting Curran POV #3-4 out because we’d have to pay for editing and would have to charge $.99 to recoup the expense and there didn’t seem enough content to justify the charge. But you can read them on the blog: POV #3 and POV #4. If you search the website for Curran POV’s, all of them pop up.

Hi I’ve read a couple of your books on my kindle and I was just wondering if you are going to release the rest of your books in ebook format because I would love to read them as well on my kindle .
Putting out ebooks in UK turned out to be more complicated than expected. For one, our old agency still held foreign rights to some of them. It took us several months to untangle ourselves from the old agency, but now we’re finally free and clear. Hoping to release UK versions this summer. Here is a preliminary cover mock-up. I tried to match the UK versions as best I could.

I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your mind prior to writing. I have had a hard time clearing my mind in getting my ideas out there. I truly do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or tips? Many thanks!
I am not sure if this is a spam or not, but I’ll answer it anyway. There is no such thing as clearing my mind for me. I’m pretty much plugged into the story 24-7. But if you’re having a rough time starting, try this: the next time you’re writing, stop in the middle of the scene. Most people think through the story in scene-sized chunks, so chances are you already know how the scene will end. If you stop before you finish it, the next morning you’ll be able to jump right in.

Ooh. Love that UK mock-up!

Thank you for that excellent writing tip – such a logical solution and I never thought of it
I love the cover! You matched the UK covers really well (thanks, Amazon UK). I wish I had your mad Photoshop skillz.
The cover looks great!

Rereading POV #s 3 and 4 was just as good as the first couple of readings. I don’t write, but it is a great tip.
June 5, Hex Appeal, is almost here! Whoopee!
I love the UK cover! I re-read the povs, and still love them every time. I would pay $0.99 for them no problem if they came in kindle form.
I agree with Crystal – I would happily pay to have the POVs, so that I can re-read them when i don’t have access to your website. they are Great!
would also love LOVE to have the Andrea/Raphael short from Must Love Hellhounds as a stand-alone download. Pretty please?
I love that you answer fan questions! Thanks for your advice. Hope you have a great weekend.
Are you just too nice and/or polite? I would’ve put a (sic) after that “their” in the first message. But I am kind of an unpleasant chap.
I also love that UK cover mock-up! One of the things I love about e-books is that I don’t always see the covers. In all honesty, I would have missed out on some great books if the digital age had not rescued me from judging books with smexy people not wearing as many clothes as the rest of us on the cover.
I spent 20 years walking past books that I now know I might have loved. The upside is that I have had a ball plowing through backlists of historical romance.
Love the UK versions – I hope you take the country by storm

Great post – thank you. So glad they are going to be available in the UK for the kindle again, that will save lots of arguments
Thank you for this type of posting. I don’t know how it is possible, but I had missed pov 3! It was excellent…thanks for the unexpected treat! I believe I have purchased every e-book and story available on Amazon. The cost is ALWAYS worth it, no matter the length. In fact, the prices are pretty cheap compared to the amount of joy and delight your writing brings! If you don’t charge, you will not be able to support yourselves by writing….and then you may stop! O-O
What a true tragedy that would be. So please, charge away!
Just so you know, I’d consider .99 a bargain for more Kate/Curran stories, even short ones like these. I adore the Curran POV stories. Each one is such an enormous treat. Please consider writing some more. I think you’d be surprised at how much your fans would support you in this, even if it meant coughing up our own money for the privilege.
I agree …would pay .99 for more!

I regularly spend $1-$3 for novellas and stories I read once and then discard. I would be thrilled to pay that much or more for your stories, which I have and will read over and over and over again! Plus, I love supporting my favorite authors –bonus!
I missed the Curran POVs when they were first posted. Love them, and would happily pay $.99 for them. I love finding short stories from my favorite authors available for ebooks for $1-3. I buy them every chance I get. If it’s Kate, I buy it. Love Love Love your work.
I really am in two minds with the UK cover. On the plus side you made it like the ones that already released something I complain publishing companies don’t do. Big kudos it looks fitting in with, yet cleaner than the others. On the down side it continues to perpetrate the continuing plainness that characterises UK covers on books brought from the US, esp comparing it to the prettiness that is your Chinese release cover. I am seriously considering learning Mandarin just to justify buying it for the prettiness.
I think a big thumbs up for keeping with the originals is in order and a request that if you bring your Edge series over here the cover is pretty?
I was wondering if you knew about this site that another author uses to validate contests where her readers post links about her new book at their various websites, each post being one entry, and the site keeps track and verifies it all. I don’t know what it costs but it seems like it would get you lots of publicity and might be worth the price. Also less hassle than running a contest yourself. Anyway, the site is https://www.contestmachine.com/
I just remember the last contest you have so many entries that it must have been a lot of work and at some point I think you mentioned it would be too difficult to verify entries posted elsewhere so you’d ruled that out. I think I might use these people when it comes time to market something.
Unfortunately, typing in Curan POV (like you instructed us to do) didn’t work on my computer…sniff. I there another way to view them?
Love your work – especially the Kate Daniels series!
UK publishers do love photo-realistic book covers, don’t they?
Somehow that’s not how I see Kate. The model looks rather young and soft to me.
Thanks for the free POVs!
If you would like to provide me with an alternative HD royalty-free image of a young woman with a model-signed release permitting me to use it on the cover, I’ll definitely consider it.
Now if I looked like Kate, that would be a breeze! Too bad I don’t.
The book looks interesting….
