This reminded me of a wonderful stand up. I don’t think I shared it on the blog yet, so here we go. Peter Kay.
So, I’ve been playing Empyrion, which I enjoyed very much, but I am kind of getting fed up with it. I really want a feel good game, something pretty, possibly even cute. Something like Stardew Valley or Recettear. Failing that, I’d love something absorbing. Middle Earth: Shadow of War is coming out, and I’m excited
A reader sent in this wonderful website, Rejected Princesses, that profiles princesses who won’t make the cut at Disney, because “well-behaved women seldom make history.” I absolutely loved the Black Agnes one. Enjoy!
Saw this on Facebook and thought we could all use a diversion. What is the most disgusting dinner you were forced to eat as a child and have never eaten as an adult? This. This is holodetz. Traditional winter “holiday” food. Pardon me while I gag. It starts with pig feet. I kid you not,
Lisa writes, I’m a professional songwriter and wrote this song after reading Magic Breaks. Inspired by Kate meeting Semiramis in Mishmar, the song is written from a Matriarch’s pov and tells the story of a mother’s love for her son, his eventual betrayal, and her promised vengeance. Have to keep those baby cups clean.
I bought this yesterday to add to my soundtracks to write with and I’ve listened to it six times now. This is such a perfect blend of East and West. Is this fun or what?
I’m supposed to be writing, but we’ve had some personal stress and the book is coming out, which typically makes me a basket case. I drank a cup of stiff British tea. We’ll see if Bigelow can pull me out of my semi-comma. First, important announcement: Jeaniene Frost will be joining us in Atlanta for
Gordon took me on a date to see King Arthur and it was amazing. Loved, loved, loved. Loved everything about it. Loved that they didn’t do yet another rehash of Morgana, Lancelot, Guinevere, loved the special effects, the action, the dialogue. Excellent movie. Go to see in theaters if you can, because it’s big.
