If you were waiting to try it, today is a good day. Amazon just included Clean Sweep into their Daily Deal and dropped the price to $0.99. This is a one day only thing. 🙂
"buy my book"
As much as I enjoyed the overall story, this particular ending – as it stands – doesn’t work and needs to be expanded.
Looks like we have quite a bit of work.
Front page of the site has been updated with Doris’s awesome artwork. I’m always amazed at her faces and the covers don’t really let you see them in detail. 🙂
You can also see the “new” cover of White Hot. They put them on a different background and changes the font. ::sigh:: I do like the new background better.
Well, I’m off. We’ve been invited to a BBQ by Grace and Patrick Draven. Dont fight while we’re gone. 🙂
Aaaaaa! This is the state of me right now. I’m trying to get to the point where I can sit down and work on Hidden Legacy. We have half of a fight done. We have an scary screature that needs help, because right now it’s just a blue colored jaguar, which is not exciting. But there are errands and things and aaaa!
File has gone to the editor, we are hoping for December 20th release with preorders available on Amazon at least later this month.
This is an eventual thing, because Renee is booked solid, so we are looking at first quarter of 2017 for audio release.
We were approached by Subterranean Press for a limited collector edition of the three volumes of Innkeeper. It will have illustrations. It will have awesome cover art. It will be a beautiful premium book, signed, and numbered, and hideously expensive. I mean, hideously. Like $75 or something. You are under no obligation to buy it. It may have minor extra content. We are still in the discussions stage. I think they are being wildly optimistic about moving that many books.
What else? There is probably something I am forgetting. If I am, I will tell you later, because Gordon says that we have to leave right no…
Thanks to reader Susan H. for sending me an email asking about the Amazon preorder of White Hot. She noticed that a hardback option was available and wondered if this was accurate. Well, I was as surprised as she was, so off to Ilona (the expert in all things <seriously, everything!>) with the question.
Ilona helpfully explained: ‘Libraries don’t like to order in paperback – books fall apart – so sometimes publishers do a special library edition in hardback. This is what that is.’
If you ordered this book you would likely get a library binding of White Hot which would look something like this:
Ilona also provided a link to an Amazon conversation on this topic. Read it HERE. <See, I told you she was awesome!>
